On a short call we look at your site, your timetable and how you take gifts. Then Hope Tech builds your website, moves your pages over, sets your prayer times and trains your admins.
You run it from one dashboard
Your admins change times, post announcements and read messages in one place, each with their own login. No code, and nothing to install.
Your community sees it everywhere
The same times and news show on your website and, if you add one, your masjid's own app. A push notification reaches members who have the app and allow notifications.

Founding rate terms
For the first 10 masjids that sign up after this page goes live. Existing clients do not take a spot and keep what they pay today. 25% off the regular price of the plan you choose, rounded down to the whole dollar: Front Door $44 a month ($440 a year), Main Hall $111 ($1,110 a year), Full Campus $224 ($2,240 a year). Yearly is 10 times the founding monthly price. Locked for as long as your plan continues. Changing plans keeps 25% off the new plan's regular price. It ends if the plan is cancelled. It applies to plan fees only, not the app launch fee or quoted work. It combines with yearly billing but not with the linked-program discount; the larger discount applies.

- Up to three review rounds with each store. If a store keeps asking for changes after that, we tell you why before any further work is charged.
- Half when we start, half when both apps are live.
- Before we start, we agree whose developer accounts the apps are published under. If they are yours, Apple charges you $99 a year and Google $25 once, and a Google organization account needs a D-U-N-S number.
- We submit when your apps are ready. Store review times are set by Apple and Google, so we don't promise a launch date.
- Your monthly plan covers updates, so there is no yearly app fee.
- The founding rate and the linked-program discount do not apply to this fee.
Included for every organization
- Each organization's records are walled off in software. Staff of one organization cannot see another's, and automated tests check this.
- Nightly automated backups of your database.
- Your logo and brand colors throughout your site.
- Your own web address. We connect your domain for you (you may need to change one setting with your domain provider), or you can use yourname.manara.hopetechapps.com.
- Secure connections (HTTPS) on every page.
- Setup by a person. We set up your site, bring over up to 10 pages of your existing content and train your admins. No setup fee.
- Real human support, with no support tiers. Plans differ by features and scale, never by who answers your email.
- Staff logins. Add administrators, each with their own sign-in. Admins can turn on two-step sign-in.
- Payments go to a Stripe account in your organization's name, which we help you connect. Manara never holds your money or sees card numbers, and it currently takes no fee per payment. Stripe's own fees apply.
- Your records are yours. Download your form responses, and your gift or school records if you use them, as spreadsheets (CSV) at any time.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Who keeps it running after setup?
We do. Hope Tech runs the website and apps for you, keeps them up to date and answers your email. Your admins only change the content: times, announcements and events. There are no plugins to update and no server to look after.
Our volunteers are not technical. Will they manage?
If they can fill in a form, yes. Changing an iqama time is one screen. An announcement is a title, a message and a picture. We train your admins at setup, and each person gets their own login. Most of your imam and board never need to log in: they see the right times on the website and in the app. Try the sample dashboard above to see for yourself.
How long until we are live?
We agree a date with you on the first call. Your website can go live before your apps, because the apps also wait on review by Apple and Google.
We already have a Wix site and WhatsApp groups. Why switch?
Your times, announcements and giving then live in one place, and the website and app read from it. We move up to 10 of your existing pages over at no charge, and a domain you own stays yours. Keep WhatsApp for chat and share your website link there. Manara does not post to WhatsApp for you.
Can donors trust the Donate button?
The Donate button opens your masjid's own donation page. Where Manara takes a card payment, such as Friday lunch or a sign-up form, it goes through Stripe into an account in your masjid's name. Manara never holds your money or sees card numbers. Numbered receipts and year-end letters for the gifts you record are ready for US donors.
Will it match the timetable we already follow?
Adhan times are calculated for your location with the method and Asr rule you choose. Iqama times are yours: minutes after the adhan, or fixed times for date ranges copied from your timetable. When a date range ends, the times go back to minutes after the adhan, so add the next range before then. Calculated adhan times can differ by a minute or two from a printed timetable, so we check them against yours at setup.
Can it run the TV in our lobby?
Not yet. An Apple TV board with the same times, a countdown and a code to donate is in testing and marked Coming soon. Ask us where it stands on your demo.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Setup is in the monthly price. A one-time fee applies only if you want your own apps in the App Store and Google Play.
Is there a nonprofit discount?
These prices are already set for masjids, schools and nonprofits. You can pay less by paying yearly (2 months free), by joining as one of the first 10 founding masjids (25% off, locked for as long as your plan continues), or by adding a linked program at 30% off. The founding rate applies to plan fees, not the app launch fee.
Should we pay monthly or yearly?
Paying yearly costs 10 months' price for 12 months, so you get 2 months free. Monthly billing lets you stop at the end of any month.

What if we cancel?
Monthly plans stop at the end of the month you cancel in, and yearly plans at the end of the year you paid for. Before you go, download your form responses and giving records as spreadsheets (CSV). If you own your domain name, it stays yours. Your website and apps run on Manara, so they stop when your plan ends. A founding rate ends when the plan ends.
Can we add our weekend school or youth program?
Yes. Each linked program is 30% off its own plan, with one login for your team.
